India’s First Web TV - India Vibes TV

Indiavibes  is a Kochi-based Vibes Visual and Media Private Limited said it will launch Indiavibes, claimed to be India's first web TV, on New Year's Day.

Andrine Mendez, Founder Visual & Media Priate Ltd said:

"Indiavibes will cover all categories... fashion, music, films, business, technology, blogging, lifestyle, current affairs and wish to make Indiavibes, as its name suggests, the one-stop shop for all the entertainment for global audiences," said Mendez.

Indiavibes promises to bring a huge collection of TV shows and movies for its audiences to choose from. You cannot download these shows or films on your PC as Indiavibes uses the adaptive streaming technology which will stream the videos for viewing.

In order to view the shows, your computer has to be compatible with either WINDOWS or MAC with at least a 512 MB RAM and 800 MH processor for viewing of Indiavibes. The only software that you will require to view Indiavibes is an Adobe Flash Player 10.


According to Wikipedia, Web television (Web TV) is not to be confused with Internet television or Catch up TV. Web TV is an emerging genre of digital entertainment that is distinct from traditional broadcast television.
Delivered originally online via broadband and mobile networks, Web television shows, or Web series, are short-form in nature (2–9 minutes per episode), episodic, and produced in seasons.
In 2008, the International Academy of Web Television was founded with the mission to organize and support the community of web television creators, actors, producers and executives. It administers the selection of winners for the Streamy Awards.
