I've Observed in past few month's that, I Reduced Posting much because I ran out of time a lot and I felt that nothing to add to my site a WORTHWHILE. I think that this is to Importance for any Blogger to do - Concede defeat at time we don't play a while. If I kept writing I'd be saturating the site with poor content and that's no good at all.
However, not blogging consistently for nearly for past few months has been highlighted a few interesting things about my blogs. I thought it was worth collating my thoughts into a semi-coherant post.
When I've come to realize that the site was actually sustaining itself without any stuff from me at all. Sure when I post new material the RSS feed picks up, but what I thought were surges in subscribers due to content were natural tides of users. And Let me explain what effects I've noticed.
1.RSS SUBSCRIBERS RISE AND FALL A LOT
I previously assumed that RSS subscribers were directly correlating to my new content; sure when I post new material I get a few hundred people read it through their RSS aggregation, but during this "break" the subscribers have gone up and down exactly as before. In fact they broke a new record only a few days ago, 3-4 weeks since my last post. One of my other blogs has consistently increased RSS subscribers since I stopped writing - so that's an almost unexplained occurrence.

2.EARNINGS
Sure my earnings have been less because I've not been actively promoting the site; pushing for sales, trying to close advertising slots etc. But what surprised me is that last month posted a pretty decent total (surpassing a couple of months where I'd actually tried). This month has been low, but my earnings were not really impacted upon by the lack of fresh content.

3.TRAFFIC
One of the most sobering things to discover was that Seopher.com doesn't actually get traffic to new content; therefore my traffic has remained consistent over the past 2 months of inactivity. The daily totals have been about the same and while the month average is lower than normal - that's purely because I've not been promoting new content via the normal outlets.

4.REFERRAL MARKETING
Referral method is a method of promoting products or services to new customers through referrals, usually word of mouth. Such referrals often happen spontaneously but businesses can influence this through appropriate strategies. Referral marketing is a structured and systematic process to maximize word of mouth potential. Referral marketing does this by encouraging, informing, promoting and rewarding customers and contacts to think and talk as much as possible about their supplier, their company, product and service and the value and benefit the supplier brings to them and people they know.
Referral marketing takes word of mouth from the spontaneous situation to one where maximum Visit’s are generated.
5.AFFILIATE MARKETING
Affiliate marketing overlaps with other Internet marketing methods to some degree, because affiliates often use regular advertising methods. Those methods include organic search engine optimization, paid search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, and in some sense display advertising. On the other hand, affiliates sometimes use less orthodox techniques, such as publishing reviews of products or services offered by a partner.
Affiliate marketing is a marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts. Examples include rewards sites, where users are rewarded with cash or gifts, for the completion of an offer, and the referral of others to the site. The industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network, the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate') and the customer. The market has grown in complexity to warrant a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super-affiliates and specialized third parties vendors.
